"Triplets in Yellow"

"Triplets in Yellow" - 8x10 acrylic
finger painting on canvasboard
Before painting the flowers, I toned the canvas.
This made a softer background. All paint was
applied with only my fingers. It's quite an
experience! ~ Glo

I see the difference with the background...contrast between the background and flowers in front...makes the flowers stand out...although a good piece of work this picture didn't make me feel comfortable...perhaps that is the intention..like the background and flowers weren't in harmony...like a strong wind were blowing the flowers along independent of the background...a kind of turmoil - happening - whilst in background there was calm
as if the world itself was calm but these flowers were being blown and disrupted by a strong force..
