"Stop the Madness"

"Stop the Madness" 8x10 on canvasboard
finger painting with quality acrylic paints
I'm not sure why I titled this one "Stop the Madness," but
for some reason it seemed to fit. Maybe it's all the different
colors in one painting. Maybe it's the pattern in the painting.

Don't we all feel like shouting sometimes:
"STOP the MADNESS!"

couldn't get the title to go with the picture...and then looked closer and saw what could be buildings in the background which for some unknown reason appeared to me a kind of empty perhaps derelict or in war torn country...and there in the front was a perfect bowl of flowers such as would appear in a peaceful home or a lady's drawing room...how can somethings so lovely exist in the same world as the devestation caused by man in other parts...however those very same flowers could/would grow within those derelict buildings if left to do so...so the beauty is there...just different circumstances...
Lots of Love Helen...

If this is madness then bring it on!

Helen,
Very deep analysis, and I like it.
It fits and causes me to see even more than when I painted it!
Thank you.

Chris,
It was hard coming up with a title for this one. So I try to let myself just go with whatever comes to me as I look at the painting. I never really know why.
