"Lift Your Heads Up"

"Lift Your Heads Up"
5x7 oil on loose canvas
Finger Painting
This was one of my very first finger paintings
in oils. Wow! It was a thrill. I do love oil paints. Of
course I made sure my fingers were covered. And that
was a bit of a challenge, but I finally figured out a
way that was agreeable with my digits!
Petals are falling. The flowers are getting older
and tired out... and feeling a little droopy. I feel like
that a lot of times! ~ Glo

that is a FINGER painting?! WOW! It is very beautiful.

I love the title, too. (It's so difficult to do that sometimes!)

Well we all loose a few petals as we get a little older...but we can still lift up our heads...lol
Oils suit this so very well...not only the painting but the context in which you put it...I like the thicker heavier texture...I scrolled down to see the difference...you have hit this right on the head...perfect in all respect...

I love "Welcome to my Garden" the most as well as "lift your heads up". You have come a long way as an artist, beautiful work.

Helen, you are so right! I think
I'm loosing a lot of "petals!"
