"We Two"

"We Two" - 11x14 acrylic on canvasboard
finger painting
This is the same painting. I couldn't decide which matt I liked
best. I'd love to hear your choice? Do you like the lavender best,
or the beige matt? I like them equally.
This is an 11x14. A little bigger than most of them.
I know I say this a lot, but this was so much fun!

"Free to Be"

"Free to Be" 8x10 acrylic on canvasboard
finger painting

I really did feel free when painting this one.
Some paintings come less freely, and seem to involve
a little more thinking and a little more "work."

But this one was "Free to Be." ~ Glo

"Stop the Madness"

"Stop the Madness" 8x10 on canvasboard
finger painting with quality acrylic paints
I'm not sure why I titled this one "Stop the Madness," but
for some reason it seemed to fit. Maybe it's all the different
colors in one painting. Maybe it's the pattern in the painting.

Don't we all feel like shouting sometimes:
"STOP the MADNESS!"
~ Glo

"Petals in the Wind"

"Petals in the Wind" - 16x20 acrylic on canvas
This was a really fun painting. I had painted the background
... shades of yellow and orange previously, and just added the
center ... painted with fingers, no brush. I am trying to
go up in size... each size has it's challenges, as acrylic
paint dries so quickly. Great fun! ~ Glo

"Through the Storm" 2 - Your imput

Just testing...

Trying to see how the little 5x7 canvasboard
would look mounted on the yellow 8x10 background.

Ummmm? If I had it in an actual frame, I think it would
look nicer. What do you think? ~ Glo

"Through the Storm"

"Through the Storm"
5x7 acrylic on canvasboard
finger painting
This one was a complete joy to paint. It was fast
and furious. Maybe you can tell? *LOL* But the
little flowers survived! We can too. ~ Glo

"Triplets in Yellow"

"Triplets in Yellow" - 8x10 acrylic
finger painting on canvasboard
Before painting the flowers, I toned the canvas.
This made a softer background. All paint was
applied with only my fingers. It's quite an
experience! ~ Glo

"Rocky Harbor"

"Rocky Harbor" - 4x6 acrylic
finger painting on loose canvas
Well, this was my first little sailboat painting. It's
a small painting. A real joy to do. ~ Glo

"Lift Your Heads Up"

"Lift Your Heads Up"
5x7 oil on loose canvas
Finger Painting
This was one of my very first finger paintings
in oils. Wow! It was a thrill. I do love oil paints. Of
course I made sure my fingers were covered. And that
was a bit of a challenge, but I finally figured out a
way that was agreeable with my digits!
Petals are falling. The flowers are getting older
and tired out... and feeling a little droopy. I feel like
that a lot of times! ~ Glo

"Welcome to My Garden"

"Welcome to My Garden"
8x10 acrylic on loose canvas
Finger Painting
Wouldn't it be nice if we all had a special little
garden, a beautiful, peaceful place to go ... so we
could get away from all the stress... even if
for a few moments each day?
I really enjoyed doing this little painting.
Dreamy. Full of color. I hope you like it too.

Ever desire to go ... "Away"?

"Away" - Fingerpainting
5x7 acrylic on canvasboard
Can you believe the title of this painting? *LOL*
It was really really fun to paint. The canvas size was
a little small, but it seemed to work well for this
painting. And really, it was fun to do!
I love fingerpainting, and ... it's
not as easy as I thought.

Flowers for a "Happy Anniversary"

"Happy Anniversary" - Finger Painting
artists quality acrylics on 11x14 canvasboard

A colorful floral... I wasn't sure if I could
make this one work. Painting with fingers
on canvasboard is so different from painting
on watercolor paper. Texture is rough.
But it was great fun painting this little floral.
~ Glo

"Candy" comes in all forms!

"Candy" - Fingerpainting
on 140lb watercolor paper
poster paints
size = 11x14
I can only say... this was pure joy to paint!
I photographed it under glass, that's why it has
a kind of 'dreamy' effect. But it was so much
fun to paint. ~ Glo

"Sharing the Stage"

I really enjoyed painting this one.
Finger Painting fun, fun, fun!

Vying for attention?
Each wanting center stage?

Not possible. However, more joy
may be found in "Sharing the Stage".

What does this painting say to you?
It was so much fun to paint!
*Just fingers
*Poster Paints
*11x14 watercolor paper 140lb
*Small spray bottle of water
*Lots of paper towels

When life goes "Whoosh"

"Whoosh"
Ever feel discombobulated?
I do.
Sometimes everything seems to crowd
in on me, and I just want to take a break.
"Whoosh!"
Hope you enjoy my little painting.

Sometimes everything seems to be "Rushing In"

Rushing In

All my life, it seems, I've spent 'rushing'...
to do this, to do that, to do so many things...
and where am I now? Still rushing.

BUT... in that small piece of time,
doing this little painting... ahhh....
I stopped rushing,
and simply painted "Rushing In."
It felt good.
You can do it too. Buy you some poster paints, some paper...
quality or scraps... and do a little painting... just from inside you...
from your heart. It feels good.

~ Glo
